This is the first release of my database Swiss-German Verbs 1.0. Swiss-German is a very interesting language spoken in Switzerland. It is similar to some dialect of southern Germany, but if you suppose that a German native speaker does understand what a little Swiss man utters, you will probably be surprised. There are many little words, that make understanding very tricky. Well, this database is a trial to bring Swiss-German near to you. Swiss-German is not only a dialect, spoken by a few peopel up in the valley, it is a language you will hear everywhere when you're in Switzerland. Even on TV and in scools. And it is as language very rich, because it's used in all circumstances and other German words (even technical terms) never remain as they are, they will always be translated into Swiss-German. In some cases, non-German words are translated, too. So I hope, the database will be useful to you, not only for linguistic purposes.

UPDATE
Someone, who is interested in Swiss-German Verbs should mail me, I will add more verbs (the database is very small yet). But if there is noboby, I'll drop the project. You should mail me, too, if you want to learn Swiss-German (or maybe German as well), I'll write some lessons with the programs mentioned below if there are a few people interested in.
HOW TO USE
To use Swiss-German Verbs you should have the following program available from many Info-Mac Mirror:
"Verbs & Nouns" by Jacek Iwanski
and then you can simply use it.

SOME OTHER THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
I used other spelling conventions than in German, but the new are more clear. You will very fast get the struture. I could choose, because Swiss-German is only in very few cases written and there are no rules, who say, how you should spell your words.
I am a native speaker of Swiss-German and since there are a big lot of different dialects in Switzerland (German dialect only in the Swiss-German part of course), my tongue could be different from many other speakers of Swiss-German. It's eastern Switzerland language, but I think, probably all of the Swiss-German speakers will understand one another.
